Toyota announced a new leasing program on Wednesday that will offer lease options for the all-electric SUV.
The Highlander leasing program will offer six-month leases with a starting price of $19,995, a price drop of nearly 30% from its previous price.
The price drop comes as Toyota is looking to diversify its sales by offering its new Highlander, which will compete with the Toyota Highlander Hybrid, in the same segment.
The Highlander, a $27,995 sedan, will launch in 2017 and will come with a top-of-the-line 5.5-liter EcoBoost engine.
The Highlander will also have an optional 4G LTE package, an option for the first time in the brand’s history.
The new Highlander will come equipped with a 15-inch alloy wheelset and the same rear seatback as the Highlander Hybrid.
It will also come with the new 6.2-liter V-8 engine that is being built in partnership with Mazda.
